Smart Clothing

Create your own electronic fashion statement! Design an interactive item of clothing with the Arduino LilyPad, a set of sewable electronic components that let you build your own soft, interactive fashion. You can programme this small, circular microcontroller board to control a variety of physical, interactive outputs, such as lights and motors. Using some sewing and soldering processes and working with conductive thread and electronic sensors, you'll learn the basics of programming wearable electronics. Energise your fashion with integrated LED lights and fibre optics and turn your clothing into a light show. No previous knowledge of electronics is necessary. Suitable for beginners with basic computer skills.
