Lauren Wright is currently conducting research for her PhD in the London Consortium's interdisciplinary doctoral programme in humanities and cultural studies. Lauren will employ the critical theoretical work of Henri Bergson, Gilles Deleuze, and Jean-Francois Lyotard, among others, to develop a new model of spectatorship and curatorial practice, looking specifically at art practices employing communications media as a means of opening arts institutions to wider audiences. Lauren is also a freelance writer and curator of live art performances and other events.
