FizziComputing – Physical Computing Workshop using Arduino

How do we capture events and change in the world and use them within a digital environment?

Workshop: Open source software for designing interfaces that respond to changes in the physical environment. Led by Richard Colson

The Arduino micro controller (available from http://www.tinker.it) offers an integrated approach to the creation of responsive circuits for use in a variety of situations including art works. TVU will provide Arduino boards, breadboards and other equipment at cost price once your attendance at the workshop is confirmed. More details are available from the course organizer. The workshop will also include a chance to preview interactive artworks from the 2008 Degree show from students on the BA Digital Arts at TVU.

If you have a laptop, install the arduino software(available from http://www.arduino.cc and bring it along.
