why can't i create events?
yes, it is a permissions issue. i just elevated your user to siteadmin.
so far, we have ordinary users who can view everything adn create profiles, contributors who should be able to create events etc. and site-admins who can look around.
probably all registered users can be contributors, but thats easy to change once we get going.
