when you create an event, project, group or venue you will be given the option to share editing permissions with other users.

if a node is "orphaned" ie. the user(s) with editing/deletion privileges are inactive, an admin user can give permissions to someone else. that someone else would ask for permissions via the issue queue (see next feedback node).
